JOB PURPOSE: Unilever South Africa In-Service Trainee (Quality) Supply Chain Programme

To assist with the quality assurance service to the business so that products produced by the company are fit for use by the consumers according to Company’s specifications and standards.

To drive zero defect culture within the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational

  • Carry out on-line trouble shooting to identify product quality issues and generating of NCA in the event that quality defects are identified. 
  • Carry out monthly checks discarding retention samples that are older than the specified retention period plus one-month.
  • Maintain an environment of 5s within retention storage area.
  • Participate in taste panels as approved tester and make decisions on status of products in terms of acceptance or rejection. (Mandatory that person does not smoke due to the negative effect this has on sensory evaluation which is a key component of the job)
  • Retrieval of samples from retention location and setting-up against Customer complaint sample and preparing all the necessary forms for evaluation.
  • Evaluating customer complaints against standards and completing evaluation documentation.
  • Prepare and write reports for consumer services team regarding investigated complaints
  • Review of ex-factory CRQS data, entry onto SAP and trend and analyse reports
  • Trending and analysing of CRQS EOLAS reports
  • Lead problem solving kaizens derived from Q prioritization matrix to obtain zero defects.

Administrative

  • Daily filling of all reports/forms as listed below·    
  • Retention Sample Register and generating of NCA’s.
  • Weekly reporting consumer/customer complaints
  • Kaizen review and archiving of documentation to take place every two months.
  • Interact with QC technicians ensuring that information regarding non-conformance is logged and addressed.
  • Interact with production in the communications of quality problems identified in the packing process (during shift handovers)
  • Run all consumer and customer complaint investigations and generates reports for CEC feedback.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Matric with Maths & Physical Science Working towards Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or Biotechnology S4 (Completing or in final year)Requiring 1-year in-service training
  • Candidates need to provide their Matric Certificate and Academic Transcript with their CV’s Basic computer literacy, i.e.: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preffered:

  • Atleast 0-1 years’ experience
  • Fully Operational in WCM QC tools and methodology
  • Working Knowledge of HACCP and GMP’s.
  • Working Knowledge of OHS act and safe operating procedures.
  • Ability to analyze data and information

5. Execute shunting activities in sidings and enroute according to directives to enhance safe working procedures. • Obtain works order. • Perform shunting/placing/removing of trucks as per works order. • Update vehicle list • Place and clear load/empty trucks at siding
6. Assist the train driver enroute to ensure the safe movement of the tarin from a required point to the destination, without delays or damage to locomotives, wagons, infrastructure track and other equipment, to ensure predictable service. • Verbally compare signal positions and display with train driver. • Observe proceeding trains patrol locomotives. • Reset locomotive trip outs. • Observe safe running of train. • Protect train during incidents. • Assist Train Driver during emergency circumstances.
7. Comply to safety standards and laid down instruction to ensure that he is well motivated and competent. 8. Provide accurate feedback timeously to the Train Driver regarding any incidents and deviations along the route. 9. Assist in performing various administration duties. 10. Complete the Train journal and submit to the Section Manager at sign – off after every shift to ensure timeous and accurate processing of monthly salary.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

•Grade 12 with pure Mathematics and/or Physical Science OTHER REQUIREMENTS: •Be prepared to undergo periodic medical surveillance and safety behavioral risk assessments during the selection process and every 12 months •Physical hearing, vision, mental, fitness (to be verified through medical tests and related safety behavioural risk assessments) •The operator shall not allow employees younger than 21 years of age to undertake train driver or train control duties.   • Should you be selected after the interview you will receive a provisional offer which will be confirmed once we receive your final matric results and proof of acceptance at University for an Actuarial Science or Accounting Science programme.

Job Purpose: Personal Assistant For Western Cape Government

The Department of the Premier, Western Cape Government has opportunities for two (2) suitably qualified and competent individuals to render a secretarial support service to a senior manager(s).

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification) plus an accredited secretarial diploma and/or administrative qualification on the level of NQF level 5 (a certificate of completion should be provided); A minimum of 3 years’ experience in rendering secretarial/ administrative support services to management/ senior management.

Key Performance Areas

Provide a secretarial/receptionist support service to the manager; Render an administrative support service; Provide support to the senior manager regarding meetings; Support the senior manager with the administration of the budget; Analyse the relevant public service and departmental prescripts/ policies and other documents and ensure that the application thereof is understood properly.

Competencies

Knowledge of the following: General Support; Financial Support; Record keeping; Relevant policies and procedures. Job Purpose:

To ensure good housekeeping of the Necsa site by performing cleaning services in terms of cleanliness, safety and maintenance of buildings/designated areas according to Necsa and SHEQ requirements.

Key Performance Areas For Cleaners Jobs

  • Performs general clean-up of all office facilities. 
  • Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas.
  • Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting.
  • Disposing of trash from bins and containers.
  • Carry out deep cleaning and detailed cleaning tasks
  • Notify management of deficiencies or repairs required.
  • Stock and maintain supply rooms.
  • Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special/ad-hoc projects.
  • SHEQ compliance, including BBS.
