Purpose of role
To support the HR Ops team by providing administrative and operational assistance in the day to day of the HR ops team in Takealot Group. The People/HRl Intern will gain exposure to hr operations, functions and systems while assisting with day-to-day People/HR activities.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:Matric/Grade 12 certificateCompleted N6 in HR or any other similar qualification
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong data capturing and administration skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of the applicable legislation, such as BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA, etc.
- Understanding of principles and procedures for HR related functions, such as recruitment, training, benefits, labour relations, etc.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information

- Filing
- Scanning documents
- HR Administration (assistance with preparation of HR documents, labour broker change forms)
- Management of the onboarding process
- Supporting the HR and business with employee queries
- HR Systems Administration (Axio, Intranet, The hub, Greenhouse)
- Payroll Administration (UI-19, Confirmation of employment, IRP5 etc)
- HR Communication (new starter emails)
- Assisting with CCMA case
- Assistance with HR Projects
