Position Purpose

The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Trainee Programme aims to provide students and recent graduates with practical workplace experience, allowing them to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world environment. This programme is designed to enhance participants’ employability by offering hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to industry-specific tasks. The WIL trainee programme is conducted over a period of 12 months.

Position Outputs

Task Execution • Assist in specific projects within a department or work-stream. • Perform routine operational tasks under supervision. • Support administrative functions, including documentation and reporting. Learning & Development • Participate in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs. • Shadow experienced professionals to gain practical insights. Communication & Collaboration • Interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to understand business needs. • Serve as a central contact point for queries and assistance. Research & Analysis • Conduct market research, data collection, and analysis to support business decisions. • Prepare reports and presentations using MS Office tools. Compliance & Safety • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. • Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards. • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

Matric certificate, S4-S5 Completed all theoretical coursework in the following Electrical Heavy Current, Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering. • Must be South African • Age between 18-35 • Preference will be given to people with Disability. • No bursary obligation with other company • Inservice training Letter from Institution for WIL Programme • Proof of certified Matric certificate and ID, Full Academic record.
