Job Description: FNB South Africa Trainee Program

FNB South Africa is inviting bright, motivated students in their final or penultimate year of study to join them for a two-week Vacation Work program from the 6th July to 17th July 2026. During this time, you’ll gain hands-on experience by engaging with FNB dynamic Business Units.

If your studies are in faculties such as Science – IT, Statistics, or Actuarial Studies – and Engineering and you’re getting close to completing your degree, FNB would love to host you and help you find the work that will be most meaningful to you.

The program takes in students during the holiday periods and applications open during the preceding months. Most opportunities are based at FNB head office in Johannesburg, but the program also hosts students at various offices across the country, depending on the assignments available.

  • Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions
  • Resolve all customer queries efficiently, and within agreed timelines.
  • Provision of an efficient administration service through careful and timeous planning, reporting and updating of all related information
  • Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements
  • Work closely with the team / allocated individual in order to up skill knowledge and skills in Operations and Administration
  • Manage own development to increase own competencies
