What Will You Do

  • Build and maintain Standard Operating Procures and guidelines to enable talent assessment capability.
  • Manage the Assessment Centre operations – assessment administration, scoring, reporting, and feedback that integrate into talent processes while adhering to Hollard’s Talent Sourcing & Acquisition policy, Hollard’s Assessment policy, HPCSA guidelines, and legislative requirements.
  • Analyse assessment data and provide insights to the HC team, managers, and leadership to inform talent management decisions.
  • Conduct individual and group assessments for talent selection, development, and succession planning.
  • Manage the entire assessment process, incorporating innovative approaches, continuous improvement, and best practices.
  • Enhance the candidate and employee experience while delivering organisational value.
  • Research innovative, agile techniques, new technologies, and emerging trends in psychometric assessments.
  • Build sound business relationships with key internal and external stakeholders through providing effective assessment advisory services and on-time quality service.
  • Serve as contact person with external Assessment Service Providers.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition, HC Advisors, and Learning and Development teams to support the integration of assessment results into talent practices.
  • Provide Candidate and Employee support, offering guidance to those undergoing assessments, and addressing questions and concerns.
  • Maintain thorough records of assessment results and recommendations for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Assist the Talent Assessments team with month-end assessment reporting and billing processes.
  • Ensure all assessment processes adhere to legal and ethical standards, including data privacy and equal opportunity regulations.
  • Stay informed about emerging psychometric assessment tools, trends, technologies, and innovative assessment methodologies.
  • Provide support to the Talent Assessments team as and when required (e.g., explore solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency, build internal talent assessment capability with business partners and leaders).

What You Will Bring

  • Proven experience in administering and interpreting psychometric assessments, and providing written and verbal feedback on psychometric assessment results
  • High ethical standards, integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive candidate and employee data
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for conveying complex assessment results to candidates and leaders
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide meaningful insights
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate assessment results and reports
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to talent assessment strategies

Educational Requirements

  • Newly graduated – Relevant accredited Honours Degree (Psychometrist Graduate) or Masters Degree (IO Psychologist Graduate)
  • HPCSA Psychometry or IO Psychology internship program requirements complete
  • Registered with the HPCSA
  • Accreditation on various psychometric assessments, including the Cognitive Process Profile (CPP) and SHL battery of assessments is beneficial
