Road Accident Fund (RAF) Internship Opportunity – Highly Paid R96,000 Per Year and for Unemployed Graduates
The Road Accident Fund’s mission is to provide timely and equitable assistance to those affected by motor vehicle accidents through the provision of appropriate social benefits to ensure financial relief and recovery for qualifying individuals.
Purpose of the Job: The Road Accident Fund is committed to youth skills development by providing unemployed graduates with an opportunity to gain work-based experience. Applications are invited for the Quality Assurance Internship for unemployed graduates between the age of 18 and 23. The Internship program will run for a period of twelve (12) months. Verification process will be undertaken to verify whether you have previous work anywhere within the Republic of South Africa.
Key Performance Areas
- General Office Administration
- Documents and records management
- Queries and complaints administration
- Review claims compliance against the RAF Act and internal guidance
- Create and maintain various spreadsheets
- Develop templates and checklists
- Identify and report on quality issues
- Review trends for relevance and accuracy
- Follow up on action plans
- Prepare monthly reports
- Liase with different stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Rendering administration support services
- Appropriate record keeping
- Knowledge and understanding of claims handling environment
- Basic knowledge and understanding of claims processes and procedures
- Basic understanding of Quality Assurance
Qualifications and Experience
- Certified Grade 12/ Matric certificate
- B Degree/Diploma in Law or related qualification, Business Administration/Management
- Diploma or certificate in Quality management will be an added advantage
- Certified copy of your ID
- Certified copy of Academic transcript
- Your CV and motivational letter

About The Road Accident Fund (RAF) South Africa
The Road Accident Fund (RAF) provides compulsory cover to all users of South African roads, citizens and foreigners, against injuries sustained or death arising from accidents involving motor vehicles within the borders of South Africa. This cover is in the form of indemnity insurance to persons who cause the accident, as well as personal injury and death insurance to victims of motor vehicle accidents, and their families.
The RAF is responsible for: providing appropriate cover to all road users within the borders of South Africa; rehabilitating and compensating persons injured as a result of motor vehicles in a timely and caring manner; and actively promoting the safe use of all South African roads.
The client base of the RAF comprises not only the South African public, but all foreigners within the borders of the country. The RAF provides two types of cover, namely personal insurance cover to accident victims or their families, and indemnity cover to wrongdoers.
